A Britain’s Got Talent hopeful from Welwyn Garden City made it through to the final last night (Thursday) after wowing judges on the hit ITV talent show.

Phil Neale, 24, appeared on stage with his dad and two brothers, performing a rendition of Father and Son by Cat Stevens, and impressed the judges so much that they sent them through to the final.

The four-piece performed to a backdrop of family pictures and memories that even made Simon Cowell, who recently became a dad, tear up admitting that he got “quite emotional”.
