People struggling with poor broadband speeds will be able to have their say at a public meeting tonight.
It has been organised by Welwyn Hatfield MP Grant Shapps at Essendon Village Hall at 6pm.
Staff from BT Openreach will be there to answer questions.
Mr Shapps said: “In this day and age, good internet access is as essential as any other major home utility and the fact that for so many people it’s not up to scratch is frankly not on.
“That’s why I’m working hard to make sure people in Welwyn Hatfield get the very best on offer.
“I’d urge Essendon residents to come along to the meeting and to keep the pressure up on BT. I’d also urge any resident wherever they live, to get in touch with me so that I can raise their case with BT.
“Encouragingly there are signs BT Openreach is starting to improve local services by planning to roll out new technology in some areas of Welwyn Hatfield.”
