There were two separate accidents on the same stretch of road in Welwyn within hours of each other yesterday.
Police officers were called to the A1000 (Hertford Road) at 10.16am after a man’s vehicle rolled off the road, close to the corner for Sherrardswood School.
No one was injured, but the road was closed to allow the vehicle to be recovered.
However, at 5.17pm a four-by-four also rolled off the same stretch, leaving the vehicle on its roof and forcing the road to be closed again.
The female driver was unharmed.
