A number of police cars were on the scene in Hatfield this morning following a disturbance.
Police were called at around 7.20am to a report of a disturbance at an address in Lemsford Road.
Officers attended and one man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
He has been taken into custody.
Witnesses said there were four police cars and a police van blocking the road by the junction with Fiddlebridge Road.
