The first headliner for Hertfordshire music festival Standon Calling 2019 will be announced later this week.

Standon Calling returns to the Hertfordshire countryside near Ware from Thursday, July 25 to Sunday, July 28, 2019.

Organisers have confirmed the first line-up announcement is “coming soon”.

An email to subscribers said: “At Standon Calling HQ we’re excitedly gearing up to announce our first headliner for 2019!

“We don’t want to give too much away, but we’ve been listening to your feedback on who you want to see playing the fields of Hertfordshire next summer and their name has certainly cropped up, a lot...

“No stranger to the Standon Calling vibe, this record-breaking act is going to put on one amazing show next July.

“Stay tuned as all will be revealed later this week!”

Standon Calling 2018 was headlined by Paloma Faith, Hertford’s George Ezra and Roxy Music legend Bryan Ferry.
