CHILDREN have just completed their first week back at school after a fun filled half-term break.
Children and teenagers across Hertsmere enjoyed a week free from books and classrooms by joining in a host of indoor and outdoor play schemes.
And the Potters Bar Edition caught up with some of the action.
Hertsmere Play Rangers held activities in parks across the borough during the week. They were in Oakmere Park in Potters Bar on Thursday, offering a range of activities from arts and crafts to football, rugby and cricket.
Others turned up to Ladbrooke School, Watkins Rise, for a day of artistic and creative fun, as part of Hertsmere council's Artplay scheme.
And there was fun and fitness at the Furzefield Centre, in Mutton Lane, where a week-long Shokk Fit Camp was held for 8 to 15 year olds.
