DARK comic tale The Cripple of Inishmaan, by Oscar nominated Martin McDonagh, will be at the Barn Theatre, in WGC, from next Friday.
The show, which starts at the Handside Lane theatre at 8pm, is set on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland in 1934.
As word arrives on Inishmaan that a Hollywood director is coming to the neighbouring island of Inishmore to film Man of Aran, the one person who wants above all others to be in the film is young cripple Billy.
His story is one of triumph in the face of adversity.
The production is said to be "hilarious and thought-provoking", and involves breaking eggs on heads and talking to bricks.
Tickets are 9.
The Cripple of Inishmaan runs until April 4.
