IF you're a young lady from Potters Bar and you haven't already entered this year's carnival princess competition, now is the time.
The Potters Bar Edition is printing the carnival princess form for the final time today before the closing date for entries on May 8.
The three winners - a princess and her two maids of honour - will head the procession through the town on Sunday, June 14.
Preparations for the carnival are well under way, and this year's event is looking as promising as ever.
As well as the usual fun fair, pony rides and food, drink and charity stalls, there will be martial arts demonstrations, cheerleading and dancing courtesy of Oakmere Primary School.
And it's still not too late to get involved.
If you want to book a stall or take part in the procession contact Sue Weaver on 01707 850147 or go to www.pottersbar.org/carnival for entry forms.
