WELWYN Garden City shot down Oxhey Jets yesterday (Saturday) to finish their football league season in style.
The Citizens secured ninth spot in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division with a 4-1 victory over the Jets.
Strikers Stuart Blackburne and Adam Wallace scored two goals apiece as Del Deanus and Steve Newing's men stormed into a 4-0 lead.
Ex-Edgware player Chris Ingham pulled a goal back late on for Oxhey, but it wasn't enough to stop City claiming the points.
