YOUR mission, should you choose to accept it: to get as far as you possibly can in 24 hours, without spending a penny of your own money or getting a lift or tickets from friends or family.
That was the daunting challenge put to a cunning Welwyn duo, who performed a great escape from a jail inside a highly protected English castle.
However, the mum and daughter were no convicts, merely fundraisers on a charity jailbreak mission, with an aim to raise as much money for the Essex and Hertfordshire Air Ambulance Trust.
Christine Goodwin and her daughter Tasmin Goodwin-Connelly's task started off at the Colchester Castle jail, in Essex, at 11am.
And 10 hours later, the pair from Grange Hill ended up 686 miles away in Oslo, Norway.
Christine, 56, who along with her 21-year-old daughter was dressed as a convict thanks to the Barn Theatre, told the WHT it was a great adventure.
"The best thing about it was not knowing how far you're going to get and the sense of achievement when you did; that as well as raising cash for the charity.
"We were the only ones in the group to break the British border.
"We got as far as we did thanks to a bit of pre-planning. We found a 10 flight on an airline website and then went begging round Welwyn businesses to help us to pay for it!"
Once the pair had landed - at Sandefjord Airport in Torp - they discovered they were 80 miles from their choice of destination and hitch-hiked the rest of the way.
Christine, a funding manager at Epping Forest College, added: "The escape was great fun and we are already planning to take part again next year."
They raised a total of just over 600.
