A BUTTERCUP-SHAPED seating area in Hatfield Garden Village has been vandalised just a fortnight after it was officially opened.
The yellow-coloured structure, in Bluebell Way, was unveiled by Hatfield mayor Howard Morgan, alongside students from nearby Green Lanes School last month.

A 15-year-old girl from Hatfield has since been charged with criminal damage.
A 12-year-old girl was also reprimanded.
