RESIDENTS packed the streets of Potters Bar this weekend, for what proved to be another successful carnival.
Amid glorious sunshine, the Potters Bar Carnival got underway with the traditional parade through the town.
The procession was headed up by this year's Carnival princess, 12-year-old Kristel Buckley, and her two maids of honour, Sasha Decaro and Alice Moss, both 6.
Organiser Peter Weaver, said: "Everything went brilliantly. People who came up and spoke to us said what a lovely afternoon it was.
"We had good weather, and for once everything went according to plan!"
