A MUM has spoken out about her fears as a swine flu drug pick-up point opens in a popular entertainment venue.

Campus West in WGC was declared as one of only two anti-viral collection points in the whole county and has already been used by more than 2,000 people.

Security guards wearing protective masks are stood guard at the Welwyn Hatfield Council-owned building which is home to a library, theatre, art gallery, Rollercity, dance studios, caf and the council chamber.

The WGC mum-of-one called the Welwyn & Hatfield Times to say she stopped her child attending a rollerskating session due to the centre.

She said: "It's a very public place.

"I know it needs to be somewhere, but why a place that children are using, or the elderly using the library?"

A third centre opened today (Wednesday) in Hertford.
