A TOT has been reunited with her beloved piggy bank just days after it was stolen by a callous thief.

Two-year-old Willow Bonar Brownsell's handpainted money box, which contained more than 100 of her life savings, was found abandoned by a neighbour.

Unfortunately, it was empty - but her mum Samantha revealed she had been inundated with offers - including cash to replace Willow's savings - since the raid featured in last week's Welwyn & Hatfield Times.

* Our story last week reported that a picture of Samantha's father had been stolen in the raid.

Samantha this week told us she wanted to reassure people her step-father, 70-year-old Les Brownsell, was "alive and kicking". It was a treasured snap of her real dad that was taken.
