TOFFEE - a delicious sweet that is enjoyed by millions worldwide, but is not much use for anything; except eating and breaking teeth on of course!
That was until a boffin at the University of Hertfordshire decided to use the treat to power a rocket.
This month it has been one small step for man, one giant leap for confectionery, as toffee was used by principal lecturer Ray Wilkinson, to power a hybrid rocket motor for an experiment on BBC One's Bang Goes the Theory.
