A TWO vehicle car crash has occurred on a busy WGC roundabout this morning (Thursday).
Ambulance, fire services and police were called to a collision, at 8.45am, between a red Ford Fiesta and a navy blue Vauxhall Zafira, which happened on the road which connects the A6129, Stanborough Road and the B197.
An ambulance spokesman said: “A 32-year-old woman in one of the cars involved sustained minor injuries. Paramedics removed her from the car on a spinal board as a precautionary measure before she was taken to the nearby QE2 Hospital.
“The driver of the other car involved, a man, was uninjured.”
The air ambulance landed in the car park in Stanborough park, but was not needed.
