BUDDING beauty queens headed to the Galleria to take part in this year’s semi-final for Miss Hertfordshire.
Around 75 girls, aged 17 to 24, headed to Hatfield for their chance to be whittled down as the county’s next beauty, at the finals on May 16 at the Gordon Craig Theatre, Stevenage.
The new Miss Hertfordshire will represent the county at the Miss England finals in July.
Should they be crowned Miss England they will then be the country’s representative at Miss World 2010 and compete to win 100,000 plus a once in a life time chance to travel around the world.
