SPECIALIST police officers are searching a garden as part of an on-going murder inquiry.
Teams armed with pickaxes and shovels have entered the cordoned off property in Fern Dells, Hatfield.
Officers have been at the end of terrace home since the arrest of resident Richard Clare, 37, on Friday.
This morning (Tuesday) a blue tent, approximately 6ft by 6ft has been erected in the back garden.
Clare was remanded in custody yesterday (Monday) charged with the murder of 43-year-old Hatfield man Peter McConnell.
