A PENSIONER has been taken to hospital following a suspected stroke at the wheel of his car.
Police and an ambulance were called to Moorlands, WGC, at around 10.50am today (Monday) after a collision between a red Rover 25 and a black Volkswagen Sport.
The motorist driving the Rover, a man in his 80s, is believed to have suffered a stroke, and was taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
The road was closed between Hall Grove and Archers Ride while police recovered the vehicles, but has since re-opened.
