A MOTORCYCLIST suffered two suspected broken arms in a collision with a car in WGC.

The man came off his bike following the accident, which took place on the B1000 in Panshanger at around 9.10pm on Friday.

Ambulances from both WGC and St Albans attended the scene, where he was given pain relief before being rushed to hospital.

Ambulance Service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “A man who we believe to be in his 20s sustained serious injuries to both his arms.

“Paramedics stabilised him at the roadside before he was taken to an awaiting trauma team at the QE2 Hospital in WGC.”
