A HUMANITARIAN group in Potters Bar has inducted another new member.
Solicitor Richard Agarwala became the seventh new recruit at Potters Bar Rotary club in the last 12 months.
In other Rotary news, past club president Pat Rowatt joined forces with friends Karen Robinson and Lyn Godfrey to take on a 10 mile Midnight Walk on Saturday, June 5.
The trio raised 600 for Keech Hospice Care in the process.
Further donations can still be made by visiting the JV Godfrey Accident Repair Centre at 151 High Street, Potters Bar.
Elsewhere, an open garden event raised enough money to purchase a ShelterBox, which contains enough supplies to help an extended family of 10 survive a natural disaster for at least six months.
