THE body which is responsible for running police services in the county has been praised for the way it delivers value for money.
Hertfordshire Police Authority, which oversees Hertfordshire Constabulary, provides ‘good’ value for money, according to a report issued jointly by the Audit Commission and Her Majesty’s Inspector of Constabulary.
Police authority chairman Stuart Nagler said: “My colleagues and I feel justly proud of this endorsement of the work we all do.
“We are committed to providing effective policing in Hertfordshire that meets the needs of local people, reduces crime and brings offenders to justice.”
