TURKEY and all the trimmings will be on offer to Welwyn Hatfield meals-on-wheels clients this Christmas.
Borough councillors will taking to the road to deliver the festive feasts. And there will be a Yuletide goodie bag too.
Cllrs Sara Johnston, Steven Markiewicz, Fiona Thomson, Louise Lotz, Les Page, Jon Beckerman and Roger Trigg will be stepping in for the day so that regular Meals on Wheels drivers can have time off.
The meals will be cooked by a staff volunteer at Douglas Tilbe House in Hall Grove, WGC.
Cllr Tony Kingsbury said: “This is a fine, festive example of us all coming together to bring cheer to members of the community.”
