A TERROR suspect has appeared in court charged with a string of offences, relating to a plot to kill within the UK.
Welwyn Hatfield taxi driver Umar Arshad faced five charges when he appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London yesterday (Monday), alongside three other men.
The 23-year-old was arrested last Tuesday at his home in Crawley Road, Luton, in a series of raids across the Bedfordshire town.
Arshad was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at the Old Bailey next Friday, May 11.
