A FIT and healthy young man died of sudden adult death syndrome, an inquest heard.
Russell Loads, of Briars Lane, Hatfield, died on October 26 last year, while working as an office cleaner in Great North Road, Brookmans Park.
Before he went to work that day, the inquest heard how he had sent a text message to his girlfriend at 3pm, which read: āIām a little bit cold and I need a hug.ā
Less than three hours later Mr Loads was dead.
The 24-year-old was described as very active.
The inquest heard he went to the gym, played football and had four jobs.
Coroner Edward Thomas said paramedics performed CPR on him for 45 minutes in their battle to revive him.
Pathologist Veema Naik said all evidence pointed to sudden adult death syndrome (SADS), which was listed as the cause of death.
The corner recorded a verdict of natural causes.
