Eleven pubs will be holding simultaneous quiz nights tomorrow night (Thursday) in aid of a Welwyn Garden City-based hospice.

The Pub Quizathon has been organised by the Isabel Hospice, which serves Welwyn Hatfield and East Herts.

The pubs taking part are The Bull in Watton at Stone, The Sun in Lemsford, The Brookmans in Brookmans Park, The Eight Bells in Hatfield, The Silver Fox in Hertford Heath, The Catherine Wheel in Albury, The White Horse in Burnham Green, The Great Eastern Tavern in Hertford, The Fox in Aspenden, The Angel in Ware and The Greyhound in Bengeo.

Katie Robertson, Isabel Hospice mass events co-ordinator, said: “It’s going to be an exciting night and we would like as many teams to enter as possible.

“Please contact the pubs directly to enter your team.

“£5 from every entry fee paid will go directly to the Hospice to enable us to continue to provide our free end of life patient care.”
