St Thomas More Catholic Church struggles with floodwater


With much of Welwyn Hatfield and surrounding villages already suffering from floods, forecasters predict more heavy rain tonight and tomorrow.

The Met office predicts rain from 10pm tonight (Friday), becoming heavy overnight.

Intermittent heavy showers will continue tomorrow (Saturday), while Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield will be hit by south-west winds of 50mph.

Sunday and Monday are predicted to be dry and windy, but more heavy rain is likely on Tuesday.
