A lack of crew is causing delays and cancellations to trains running between Welwyn Garden City and London stations this evening.

Disruptions are expected until 9pm as unavailability of crew between Moorgate and Finsbury Park has meant fewer Great Northern trains are able to run on all lines.

Great Northern services running to and from these stations will be cancelled or revised.

A tweet from Great Northern (@GNRailUK) said: “Please allow extra time for your journey this evening as journey times may be extended by up to 30 minutes.”

National Rail has advised tickets will be valid on London Underground services between Moorgate, Kings Cross and Finsbury Park.
