Flying lorry strap hits car on M25 near Potters Bar

Police were alerted today to a loose lorry strap hitting a car on the M25 anticlockwise between Junctions 25 for Enfield and 24 for Potters Bar.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “We were alerted at 2.34pm to reports that a car had been struck by a strap off a lorry.”

After pulling to one side, the driver spoke to the lorry driver and reported the incident to the police.

Thankfully, the car was not damaged and no injuries were reported.

Police did not attend.
