30th June 1918 - 9th December 2019 Eddie's family would like to thank everyone who attended the celebration of Eddie's life at Harwood Park on Tuesday 9th January and made it such a memorable occasion. A total of £215.17 was raised which will be divided equally between Brandon Park Nursing Home in Suffolk who cared for Eddie during his final days, and SSAFA - the Armed Forces charity. Thanks also to Austin's Funeral Directors in Welwyn and to Welwyn Sports & Social Club for the impeccable arrangements. Eddie Slater
