SIR - I read, with great interest, the letter in the January 9 Issue, from Dr Dennis Lewis and Dr Eric Sherrard.
What immediately struck me was that it is the European Working Time Directive (EWTD) that appears to be in control of what we in England can or cannot decide.
Am I wrong in thinking that the EWTD has the last say in any decision this country or its governing body are allowed to make?
