SIR - At Woodhall Parade at 8.45am on Thursday, I witnessed a large white van parked up and a man armed with a black rubbish bag and a litterpick proceeding to poke about in the slush and snow attempting to pick up the odd fag end and sweet wrapper.
Surely it would be a much better use of joint effort by the Serco workforce if pathways and side roads were tackled to enable a safer route around the local roads for the refuse collection and delivery guys.
I suppose it's a jobsworth situation but it does not comply with "let's pull together guys". Yours totally amazed
