SIR - Now the polyclinic (whatever that means) is opened, it has 30 lovely car spaces for everyone to park in.
I hope the QE2 management announces that its second car park, ie The Pines (Kingsley Court and Bennett Close) is no longer needed, for those skinflints, namely hospital workers and visitors, who refuse to pay to use the QE2 car park or who refuse to use the free car park at King George V Playing Fields.
Better still, since 90 per cent of people (as per your survey) have no intention of using it, why not close it down and tarmac over the space, so that we have 40 free car spaces. That would help declog Ascots Lane and The Pines.
The polyclinic will be a complete waste of taxpayers' money.
