SIR – We have an amazing super young athlete in our midst [Jodie Williams, WHT, July 28] yet not a mention of her on BBC or ITV regarding her magnificent achievement in the 100 metres in Canada.
What is wrong with this country?
What do we do? We just show it on Eurosport where only a few hundred thousand can see this wonderful young athlete.
If she was an American athlete she would be shown nationwide so that the whole nation could see her.
The media is more interested in showing sleaze and corrupt MPs.
Shame on them.
