Sir - I don't think the proposed swimming pool in WGC will appeal to many teenagers, or if it does it will be a five minute wonder.

I recently went to Jarman Park leisure centre in Hemel Hempstead and couldn't help thinking what a big difference it would make in WGC. There is a big swim area called Aquasplash, ice skating, bowling, snooker, pool, karaoke, nightclub, cinema, arcade and bar, all under one roof.

With the amount of land that Tesco seems to be buying, it would be lovely to have a complex like Jarman Park to suit the teenagers plus everybody else. Jarman Park is always packed.

Mrs J Clark, Summer Dale, WGC.
