SIR - Could I say thank you to the person who paid my lunch bill at Pizza Express on Thursday, January 29.
I was dining out with my 22-year-old son and 84-year-old father.
What prompted this act of kindness is unknown to me but I would like to express my sincere thanks for this gesture which came as a shock, although a pleasant one.
It was an act which restored my faith in human nature. I hope the person responsible will read this and realise how appreciative we were of their kind and generous act.
