SIR - George Munn is quite right to call upon our MP to take local action on empty properties. Some weeks ago, in your columns, I asked Mr Shapps for details of his research into the problem locally.
He has not replied but used your space to write yet another inaccurate letter about the QE2 site.
Perhaps I could be forgiven for concluding that his "idea" was just another excuse for a photo opportunity with his leader and had no real substance.
Is Mr Shapps more interested in advancing his ministerial ambitions than looking after his constituents?
