SIR - I am writing to complain about the potholes and road conditions in the Hatfield area. I have been in touch with highway faults; as they said they will now fill in the holes within 24 hours.
I reported the roads in the Birchwood area about three weeks ago and nothing has been done since.
I cycle mostly everywhere as the government are always on about the environment. How can you cycle if the roads are so bad you can break your bike or endanger yourself?
