SIR - The Three Valleys Water Company is being very prudent, unfortunately for many folk, by having the right number of parking spaces.
Central government has told local authorities to introduce taxation for employee parking provision and therefore Three Valleys Water is minimising future cost increases for consumers.
The decision will be annoying for employees, local residents and other road users.
We are unable to judge the company's spokeswoman's crystal ball, but as 'back up' Welwyn Hatfield Council, who 'own' the planning department which has enforced the restriction, should be looking to build a public car park in the area for at least 400 vehicles, just in case the crystal turns cloudy!
