SIR - Let's NOT get rid of Panshanger airfield.
The airfield is a big part of the history of the area and was one of the main reasons that the de Havilland aircraft factory survived.
Too much local history has been wiped out already; all too soon there will be no history or open spaces left.
I would like to see the area retained as an airfield and museum of past local activity.
