Sir - I am sorry not to be surprised at the cab driver being found guilty (WHT October 15). Is it not time that this council arranged spot checks in and around Welwyn and Hatfield?
We have heard of all sorts of people taking our loved ones home after a night out who have had some very scary convictions. I would love to have a camera on my car (and a police force who cared!) to show what dreadful risks cab drivers in our town's take. These are professional drivers and courses and checks should be made before they go out.
