Sir - I must agree with Charlie Boy Meynard (WHT, March 26) regarding the speed limit on Osborn Way. This road does have the appearance of a 40mph road and I'm sure it must confuse many drivers.
The two police speed check signs, one of which is obscured, should have at least small 30mph signs above them and a few more repeater signs at intervals would be useful instead of the 25 no loading signs which I've always regarded as a complete waste of money.
Why would there be any need for loading or unloading on this road which has no houses, shops or business premises on it apart from the section under the Howard Centre?
