SIR - Regarding parking in Lemsford Road, Hatfield.
In response to the letter in your newspaper on June 10, from Paula Abbiss, concerning parking in Lemsford Road, I agree wholeheartedly with her and have been contacted by other residents who say it is becoming increasingly dangerous not only to drive along Lemsford Road, but to access the road from their driveway due to the parked cars.
Obviously, the double yellow lines put round the corners of Worcester Road, Jasmine Gardens, Middlefield, The Paddock and Oak Tree Close have not resolved the problem and we need urgently to discuss what further can be done.
I was at a meeting of the Hatfield Town Centre Forum last week when this issue was raised.

Cllr John Mansfield, deputy leader of the borough council said that parking at the Airfield [pub] end of Lemsford Road was going to be reviewed as one of the council's priorities and that residents would be consulted again.
I will ensure this is given high priority.
