Sir - The county council's legal challenge to East of England Plan has the backing of the Hertfordshire Branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (WHT, June 25 and July 9). St Albans Council will also challenge the plans.
It is to be hoped that the Welwyn Hatfield Council will also back this action, particularly in view of the fact that they have been extremely vehement in their opposition to the building of 10,000 homes in the Welwyn Hatfield area.
