SIR - Thank you to the organisers who put on a fantastic day last Sunday, I really enjoyed it.
I am only saddened by the mob-handed troops from Welwyn Hatfield Council that turned up to stick their oar in, plotting to shut down a show for a really worthy cause.
I was disgusted to overhear how they planned to put the stoppers on this show with their underhanded tactics and boasting about how much money they would be getting paid for working on Sunday; I would really like to know how they were getting paid for this!
As a Hatfield resident I'm not overly happy to think that my hard-earned money would be going towards paying for a group of cantankerous jobsworths out to stop a brilliant day.
Looking forward to next year!
