SIR - I just wanted to write and say how much I enjoy visiting the Pomegranate Cafe in the Woodhall Community Centre. I pop in when I can for a welcome mug of tea and get tempted by the delicious home made cakes.
Last Wednesday (April 23), being St George's Day, scones were served with butter, cream and jam for only 50p!
The volunteer staff are great and the cafe is always buzzing with customers young and old.
I take my hat off to Philomena Johnson who is in charge of the cafe, as well as running a successful youth club there on a Thursday evening where young people can go to chill out.
What a great asset to the community.
