SIR – Regarding plans for an incinerator at Hatfield. Hows this for a coincidence Mitsubishi, based in Travellers Lane, are manufacturers of incinerators. Also, I came across a very interesting item in Private Eye number 12238, page 9, stating that

Hows this for a coincidence Mitsubishi, based in Travellers Lane, are manufacturers of incinerators.
Also, I came across a very interesting item in Private Eye number 12238, page 9, stating that whichever company has the contract for the Hatfield incinerator, will be able to tap into an EU pot of our cash towards the cost of building and then running of what will be our very own incinerator.
Yes we will be paying for this monstrosity out of funds paid for by us.
How's that for irony, or is it a slap in the face.
