Sir - I refer to the letter from Stan Laver-Walton regarding the young children's Christmas party at St John's Community Club (WHT, January 2).
I cannot speak for individual Hatfield town councillors regarding any promises that they may or may not have made.
What I can do is to remind any voluntary groups in Hatfield that the town council welcomes applications for small grants. The necessary forms are available from the town council offices at Kennelwood, in the Town Centre, or phone 01707 262023 for an application pack.
