Retailers across the borough were nominated, and it was Validate that came out on top in the Welwyn Hatfield Times' Best Independent Fashion Retailer award.
Established in 2020 and operating from a unit in The Howard Centre, the retailer offers clothing for both men and women, including cosy leisurewear, functional workout clothing, accessories, and footwear.
Store manager Angela Edwards was delighted to win the award, saying: "Myself and the team here at Validate are delighted to have won this award, as voted by the readers of the Welwyn and Hatfield Times.
"We strongly believe in providing a friendly shopping experience and interacting with our customers and the local Welwyn Hatfield community.
"We proudly support the great work and events of local charity Isabel Hospice, and have a donation point in our store.
