Pictures taken by members of Potters Bar and District Photographic Society feature in a new print exhibition that has opened in Hatfield.

Now showing at The Galleria shopping centre for two weeks, the Society’s first exhibition of the year - and 73rd Annual Exhibition in its history - features nearly 90 pictures with a wide range of subjects and styles from 18 of the Society’s members.

The Society's president, Graham Coldrick, said: “We are very grateful to The Galleria for again allowing us the space for an exhibition.

"It gives us the opportunity to show some of our best work while also letting members of the public vote for their favourite picture."

A spokesperson for The Galleria added: “We welcome back our friends from The Society and look forward to our guests enjoying this exhibition."

Two trophies will be awarded as a result of the public’s votes - one to the picture receiving the most votes in the Society's General Class and one for the exhibition as a whole.

Results will be posted on The Society’s website at pottersbarphotosoc.org.uk

The exhibition opened on Saturday, April 1 and can be viewed until April 14.

Potters Bar and District Photographic Society meets at the Wyllyotts Centre, just off Darkes Lane, in Potters Bar, starting at 8pm on most Mondays from September to June.

They welcome new members wherever they may be on the photographic journey.  The Society is also on Facebook.
